Ed is available for parties, dances, church socials, weddings, and other social events.  For these venues, Ed will provide a mix of live and recorded music according to the nature of the event.  Rather than a typical DJ with a set party routine, which may not suit your taste in music (or volume level) Ed will tailor the tone and pace of the party, as well as the type of music, to meet your needs. Current pop can be provided upon request, but Ed prefers playing old favorites, including the dance music of the 1940's through the 1980's, and finds that audiences of all ages enjoy this mix of familar oldies and not-so-oldies.

Ed can perform solo or with a small group (2 to 5 piece bands) for live entertainment, focusing on classic pop, rock and folk tunes covering most of the 20th Century.  Live and recorded music can be combined, for example, light pop vocal music during a cocktail/dinner hour, followed by spinning the dance platters when the party is ready to rock!

Rates are reasonable, and negotiable according to type of event, duration, travel time, etc.  Whether live or recorded music is used, Ed strives to keep all musical selections "family safe" and consistent with his personal ethics, i.e. we keep it clean.

Ed is ready and willing to provide entertainment for fundraising events for charitable organizations.

Ed is also teaching guitar and other fretted instruments, beginners as well as adults who "used to play" and want to rekindle their musical life.

Ed is looking for opportunities to sit in as sideman in a wide variety of musical ensembles, on guitar, bass, and other fretted instruments, percussion, and some keyboard.
